We’re seeking passionate, highly organized builders to serve as City Directors in Chicago and Toronto. This will begin as a volunteer role (all proceeds are reinvested directly into growing the company), with strong potential to evolve into a paid position as we scale.

MUST HAVES
- Demonstrated operational ability; thrives in getting things done
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Passion for entrepreneurship, events, and building community
- Great with people: comfortable managing teams and working with diverse personalities
- Understanding of social media basics

- Existing connections in the local creative or startup scene (e.g., videographers, performers, venues)

Responsibilities
As City Director, you’ll lead all aspects of running Pitch and Pair in your city:
- Event Management
- Manage and vet pitches
- Recruit high-profile pitchers
- Find and book venues
- Set pitch lineup before each event
- Oversee showtime flow and time management
- Team & Staff Coordination
- Recruit and schedule event staff: MC, tech/laptop support, videographer, photographer, entertainers, editors
- Coordinate arrival times, setup, and cleanup
- Ensure smooth operations the day of
- Community & Outreach
- Drive outreach if pitchers or attendees are low (with support from the main Pitch and Pair team)
- Monitor ticket sales and waitlists
- Send reminder emails pre-event and surveys post-event
- Follow up with pitchers; fill in as needed if cancellations arise
- Marketing & Content
- Post on socials and capture event content
- Coordinate sponsorships locally
- Support broader Pitch and Pair branding and storytelling
- Logistics
- Bring a laptop for event use
- Help with setup/cleanup
- Handle local scheduling and communications
